Just a caution to all those boxers who frequent mansfield. There has been a
raccoon spotted near and around Bicentennial pond, which is off of Clover
Mill Rd, during the day recently. I work at the day camp that is held there,
and have seen it twice in the past two days. The town personnel responsible
for the area has mentioned that it may have rabies, so please be careful out
on the trails! This area is close by School House Brook Park, and is loaded
with boxes, like Chuck's elephants, air mail, squirrel's treasure, in search
of sasquatch, Irish Mum's the totem pole, and Cock-a-doodle-Moo's
bicentennial pond, silly songs and poets box. Be careful everyone!!

It is very important that you contact the Animal Control Officer: #
487-0137. Best to be cautious, rather than take a chance this
raccoon has rabies.

I believe this has been done already. There was someone out walking around
the pond looking for it w/ a tranquilizer gun (pretty scarey for day camp
kids tho). Will keep the list posted when I get any new info.
